Greg K. Farries, B.Sc. (Finance) Partner
Committed to excellence in customer service, Greg Farries has been with the Nakamun Group for more than thirteen years, bringing specialized knowledge in investment and financial planning to the team.

Greg earned his Bachelor's degree in Corporate Finance from Arizona State University in 1985. He launched his career with The Herman Group, where he was an investment advisor for several years. Later he worked as a currency trader in the Oil & Gas Group of a major Canadian Bank, before joining The Nakamun Group. Greg successfully completed the Officer, Partner and Directors examination offered through the Investment Fund Institute of Canada as well as the Canadian Securities Course.

Greg is branch manager for Partners in Planning Financial Services, Ltd. Partners in Planning is a financial planning firm with offices through out western Canada and has over $4 billion in assets that they manage on behalf of their clients. Tom Neufeld, B.A. CFP, CIM - Advisor
Tom Neufeld joined the Nakamun Group in 1995 as an Investment Advisor working closely with Greg Farries and other members of the Nakamun Team. Tom has over 10 years of financial service experience having worked for an insurance and investment agency and then in retail finance. Prior to joining The Nakamun Group, he worked as a senior client service office with the securities division of a major bank.

As a result of his experience in advising branch personnel and clients he realized the tremendous potential of a specialized firm such as The Nakamun Group. Over the years, Tom has worked very hard to bring both a strong commitment to client service and a strong technical background in the investment and financial planning field.

Tom's education qualifications includes a B.A. in Political Science, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) and he is currently completing the Fellow of Canadian Securities Institute designation (FCSI). Born and raised in Calgary, Tom has been actively involved with the Nakamun Charitable Foundation and has served on core committees for The Rainbow Society and The Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation.
