john d.r. davis, BA, CFP, CLU
John Davis is a Certified Financial Planner and Chartered Life Underwriter with more than 15 years of experience in the financial planning field. Prior to helping found Blackburn Davis Financial Inc. in 2001 John was a marketing consultant with a major life, disability and group insurance brokerage company.
John’s passion is to simplify the lives of professionals and business owners by coordinating their unique financial needs. This is accomplished by helping clients make insurance and investment decisions that will minimize tax immediately and at retirement, disability and death.
John is a past board member of the Edmonton chapter of Advocis, the largest association of Financial Advisors in Canada, the Alberta representative on the FundEX Investments Inc. Advisory Council and a member of the Conference of Advanced Life Underwriting in Ottawa.
John is married to Sandra and they share the joy of 3 young girls: Morgan, Ally and Grace

Brandi Sadler, CFP
Brandi Sadler is a Certified Financial Planner and a licensed life insurance and mutual fund representative. Since joining the field of financial planning in 2000, she has gained valuable knowledge and expertise in helping clients with their unique financial needs. Brandi specializes in Individual Pension Plans, acting as a liaison between actuaries and pension plan trustees. Her knowledge, experience and strong communication skills have allowed her to build strong relationships with clients and our team.
Outside of work, Brandi plays competitive ball hockey, is a member of Toastmasters and she proudly supports the Canadian Cancer Society.
Bobbie MEGYESI
Bobbie Megyesi joined Blackburn Davis Financial Inc. as a Financial Planning Assistant in August 2006. She has several years of administrative and sales experience. Outside the office, Bobbie is Alberta Recording Country Artist “Bobbie Jean.”
Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, reading, writing songs and spending time with her family and pets
TAMMY BROWN
Tammy Brown joined Blackburn Davis Financial Inc. in September 2006 as a Financial Planning Assistant. Tammy graduated from NAIT with her Finance Diploma and is eager to learn more about financial planning. In the future, Tammy plans to achieve her Canadian Securities Course.
Outside of work, Tammy enjoys physical activity, the outdoors, and relaxing with family and friends.
